Frascati DOCG organic

We at Azienda Biologica De Sanctis firmly believe in organic farming methods.
For this reason, we cultivate our vines and grapes on the fertile soils along Lake Regillus, choosing organic methods. Our family of winemakers has been working since 1816 to produce excellent wines: discover the quality of our DOCG wines in Frascati.
The supply chain is carefully and consistently monitored at every stage, from grape variety selection to product selection, harvesting, and processing, always following the principles of organic farming.
Our grapes are harvested in baskets or crates, traveling only as far as our cellar, so that we can package a completely zero-mile product. In the cellar, the grapes reach the conveyor belt that feeds them to the machinery used for inspection, destemming, and pressing.
The grapes then undergo fermentation according to traditional methods and timing, avoiding any damage. This is the process we choose to follow to produce our DOCG wines: from excellent organic grape juice, we create a delicious organic wine.

Abelos

The name of this vineyard derives from the Greek “Ampelos”, one of the names of Dyonisos, the god of wine and the vital energy of nature.

Amacos derives from the Greek name “Pacific”.
This wine rests in small barrels for approximately 6 months, fully expressing the complexity and depth of our territory.

Iuno wine is a tribute to Juno, the queen of the ancient Italic peoples. A temple was dedicated to Juno, evoking her intimate connection to the lunar cycle.

On the nose, it presents an intense and enveloping bouquet, characterised by fruity notes of cherry, black cherry and raspberry, accompanied by vegetal hints of undergrowth and pepper and spicy notes of black pepper and liquorice.
